🔺According to my experience business should be happy to pay us for the consulting services 😀

🔺As we all knew that in some cases where just for billing few adjustment done and later entire organisation suffer for sure.

🔺Clarity from Business side and IT side should be there in every meeting or initial presales team committed on delivery of services.

🔺Both side it’s mandatory to follow genuine approach about the requirements what business side looking for and also IT side evaluate the same about how best can be served and tell about the reality.

🔺Even you miss that project that’s fine 😃, there will be a chance where business May come back for your Support after they fail with other consulting firm.

🔺Another tip / suggestion is like Initially business should spend first on educating internal team about application what business is going to implement first.

🔺 Business side should hire young professionals ( minimum salary - they get experience) if they are planning for implementing SAP application near future and build in-house IT team also. Not only for SAP , they can support other portals what business has.

🔺 For core solution only business should go ahead for implementation partners.

1️⃣ Awareness about licensing part is mandatory.

2️⃣ How many modules to be implemented just to start , not to implement everything in first phase.

3️⃣ Data migration team shouldn’t be separate, they should be part of functional consultants team, project manager to be same for functional and data migration activities.

4️⃣ Deciding about IT tools before starting the project itself and both side should follow the same.( example Azure devops, Service now , Jira , zoho etc)

5️⃣ Whether to follow SAP solman for documentation purpose or adopt one drive solution from business then PMO team should update all these very clearly in the initial stage only.▪️Lots of confusion after all the documentation where struggling to find the same 😀▪️

There are many points to share , let me post once I make such list.▪️Definitely solution part taken by experienced SME level and there fresher should be shadowing.

🔺Other configuration, documentation, test setup , solving the low hanging issues to be managed by freshers who has minimal knowledge on module wise.

🔺More challenge IT side team will face where critical development introduced between and that shouldn’t be expected by business side immediate basis.

🔺Additional RICEFW can be planned once basic requirements met.

🔺Introducing SAP S/4 HANA BI reports or Fiori app development requirements to be added initially or not to be decided before only not at the last moment.

🔺Business also suddenly change their team too due to some situation and that time not even communicated with IT team, so that create a long gap and it impact the entire project implementation flow for sure.
